The list of restaurants presented in this page is only a few among the MANY dining establishments in Boracay. We have enlisted here some of our favorites, but you are certainly free to try other restaurants as per your preference. 

The rule of the thumb is stroll along White Beach and D’mall and you can find there lots of restaurants, from fine dining to budget cafes. 

If you want to try fine dining with dance presentation and fire show, or just for a relaxing and romantic dining experience, then we suggest:

FOR FOREIGN TOURIST who would like to try authentic Filipino food, aside from seafood, here are other food that you could try:

Sinigang. It is the most famous Philippine soup, a little bit sour by taste. May contain fish, pork, beef, chicken and vegetables.

Adobo. The main ingredient is pork, chicken, beef or squid. Prepared with garlic and onions, with the addition of soy sauce, vinegar and a little sugar. The taste can vary from simple to spicy, depending on the amount of pepper added.

Crispy Pata. Marinated pork knuckle then deep fried until crisp.

Chopsuey. Vegetable stew made of cabbage, carrots, young corn, mushrooms, chicken/meat/shrimps or liver and sweet peppers.

Nilaga. This is traditional pork, beef or chicken soup with a twist because of other added native ingredients such as a special sort of banana, sweet potatoes and cabbage.

Pansit. The Filipino version of Chinese noodle dish but with a twist. Main ingredients: rice noodles, chicken or pork, cabbage, carrots with a dash of soy sauce and Philippine lime - calamansi.

Lechon. This is a dish with Spanish influence and is usually served during weddings and major holidays but in Boracay it is being served everyday at some restaurants.

Bistek. This is the Filipino version of beef steak, but actually this is pork stew in soysauce, vinegar, white onions and laurel leaves.

Kinilaw. Fresh fish marinated in vinegar, garlic, onion and chilies.

Sisig. Pork ears grilled and diced into small pieces with white onion, black pepper, mayonnaise and soy sauce. Usually this is served on a sizzling plate.

For those who love sweets, we recommend the following desserts:
Halo-halo. Crushed ice, ice cream, milk and a variety of additives such as jelly, banana, corn, sweet potatoes, breadfruit, and more.

Leche Flan (Custard). Holiday dessert made of whipped egg, milk and sugar.

Ube. Made up of purple yams (a type of root crop) cooked in milk with sugar.

Brazo de Mercedes. A type of cake with custard filling.

Suman. Sticky white rice wrapped in palm or banana leaves.

For adventurous eaters, we recommend the following exotic dishes:
Balut. Boiled duck egg with unhatched chick inside.

Street Barbeque. Different parts of chicken roasted over charcoal such as feet, head and intestines.
